This app is for staff of a subscribing company

This app is not a consumer product. It is used by the staff of a company that subscribes to Inno Source, with an account that company creates.

Your employer decides what you can see and do in it, through the permissions and the accessible branches set on your account. If something is missing from your screen, that is a decision your employer made, not a fault.

Everything you do in the app is done on behalf of your employer and is recorded against your account.

Data kept on the phone

The app keeps a copy of the data you have viewed on the device so it can work without a connection. That copy is stored in the app's own storage on the phone.

Signing out clears it. Removing the app removes it.

Because that copy exists, an unlocked phone in the wrong hands is company data in the wrong hands. Lock the device.

Notifications

The app sends notifications about work assigned to you, approvals waiting on you and messages addressed to you.

A notification is shown on the lock screen, so it deliberately carries the subject and never a monetary amount.

You can mute a conversation from inside the app. Notifications required for work — an approval waiting on you — are set by your employer.

Location

Location is used for one purpose only: recording where an attendance check-in happened, and only where your employer has switched mobile attendance on for your branch.

The app asks the server first. Where the branch has the feature switched off, the app does not request location permission at all and records no location.

Where the branch requires a geofence, a check-in outside the permitted radius is refused and nothing is recorded. Where the branch only records location, a check-in outside the radius is accepted and flagged for HR. Which of these applies to you is your employer's setting.

The app does not track your location in the background, and it does not record location between check-ins.

Losing a device

Tell your employer immediately. They can disable the account from the system, which stops the app on that device from reaching any data.

Until the account is disabled, the copy already on the device remains readable by anyone who can unlock the phone.

Permissions the app asks for

Location — only where your employer has enabled mobile attendance, as described above.

Camera — for scanning barcodes, and for the attendance photograph where your employer requires one.

Notifications — to deliver the alerts described above.

Storage — to hold the offline copy of the data you have viewed.

Refusing a permission disables the feature that needs it and nothing else.

The account belongs to the employer

The account is created, permissioned, suspended and deleted by the subscribing company. It is not a personal account and it does not travel with you.

When you leave the company, the company disables the account. The record of what was done through it stays with the company, because it is the company's business record.

Language and the governing text

These terms were drafted in Arabic. The Arabic text is the authentic and governing version. The English version is provided as a convenience translation, and where the two differ in meaning the Arabic text alone applies.
