Inno Time — attendance and working time from the PC

Clock in from the computer and measure active and idle minutes — with no keystroke logging and no screenshots, stated on the employee’s own screen.

A fingerprint reader by the door answers "did they come in". For people whose work happens on a computer, that is not the question. Inno Time clocks them in from their own machine and measures how much of the day was actually worked.

What it records

• Check-in and check-out, landing in the same attendance table as the fingerprint readers — so lateness, penalties and payroll simply apply
• Active minutes and idle minutes, from the operating system's own last-input counter
• Minutes it could not measure, counted separately and reported as unknown — never quietly folded into either side
• Which programs were used, and for how long — only if the company switches that on, and the tool asks the server rather than deciding for itself

• No keystrokes are recorded. There is no code in the tool that can.
• No screenshots are taken.
• Application names are off unless the company enables them, and the panel says which it is.
• The employee sees exactly the same figures their manager sees.

Running it

A small Windows program. It can start with the computer and run in the background, so tracking does not depend on somebody remembering to open a window — and when it cannot run, it says why in its log and on its panel rather than exiting silently.
